First KnitCrate Box of 2022 – Monthly *Luxury* Yarn Subscription

Hi friends!

I just received my first KnitCrate box of 2022 and I wanted to share it with you because I think it’s my favourite one yet!

This post contains affiliate links. This means, should you make a purchase, I will receive a small portion of the sale at no extra cost to you. All opinions are my own. View my Privacy + Disclosures Policy here.

If you’re not familiar with KnitCrate, it’s a monthly yarn subscription with a few different options: Regular Yarn Club, Sock Club, and Malabrigo Club! Within these clubs, you can further customize based on the types of colorways you usually like best. I get the Regular Yarn Club and opted for the “All Natural” colorway option!

If you’re looking to branch out from your regular department store yarns and want to start experimenting with more luxurious fibers, KnitCrate is a great way to do that and test out new fibers each month! I have a 20% off coupon code if you want to give it a try and save a few $$$. You can use “knitsnknots20” for 20% off your first box!

These are the colorway options you have to choose from (there is something for everyone!):

So what’s inside?

KnitCrate comes in this infamous little blue box each month!
Each month you’ll get a box with 1 or 2 skeins, and 2 patterns to use with them: 1 knit and 1 crochet!
Each month has a theme that’s always branded so beautifully. This month it’s a cabin retreat theme!
These are what my two hanks looked like! I’m so glad I changed my subscription recently to get the natural colorways. These speak to my soul! This DK weight yarn is the prettiest charcoal grey, made of 47% Suri Alpaca, 38% Alpaca Wool, and 15% Non-Superwash Merino Wool.
You can use them to make the pattern that came with your box, or you can use them in any of your projects that call for that yarn weight!
Each month also comes with a little gift. Sometimes it’s a stitch marker, progress keeper, tape measure, or this month it’s a coffee-scented lip balm made by a small business! Love that KnitCrate supports so many small makers! This is actually my current favourite lip balm and it comes with me everywhere.

Use “knitsnknots20” for 20% off your first KnitCrate box!
