Fiber Friday – WeCrochet “Paragon” Yarn Review

Hey friends!

I’ve got another yarn review for you!

This post is sponsored by We Crochet, but all opinions are my own. It was my own decision to write this type of blog post, featuring this yarn, because I genuinely love it and think you will too! This post contains affiliate links. View my Privacy + Disclosures Policy here.

Ooookay! Let’s get on with it – my newest pattern uses yarn from WeCrochet: Paragoncolourway White.

Who is WeCrochet?

Before we dive into this yarn, let me just give you a little briefing of who WeCrochet is!

Last year, in 2019, Knit Picks created a sister company called WeCrochet. They sell the same yarns, but cater to crocheters! On their home page, you can find categories like:

and other helpful info geared to crocheters. I was so excited to learn about this company because so often, yarn companies cater to knitters, and crocheters are kind of forgotten about!

Not anymore! 🙂

We Crochet – Paragon

Paragon is a yarn from WeCrochet that I have loved for a while – let me tell you the specs:

  • $8.49 per 50g ball (USD)

  • recommended care: machine wash + lay flat to dry
  • 10 different colour options.

My Thoughts

I love this yarn because it has incredible stitch definition, and it doesn’t split while you’re using it. I made my Teulon Tank with it, and it was such a breeze to crochet. If you’re interested, the Teulon Tank is a FREE crochet pattern made from 2 simple panels (shown below).

Paragon has the most amazing twist to it, and it looks so beautiful in the package, even before actually using it! It’s such a pretty yarn, and the colour choices that are availabe are just gorgeous. They are jewel tones, including a mustard, a deep purple, dark blue, deep spice, black, turquoise, silver, and grey. They are absolutely stunning colours, and I’m sure you will ind a shade that you love! I used the colour “White” for my Teulon Tank, but I also ordered this yarn in the colour “Pimento” which is a bright red and it’s stunning!

There is also a line called Paragon Bare if you want to order the yarn totally bare without any dye in it. This way, you can dye it yourself!
